flow rate on this one is listed as 151 litres per minute -- is that a fixed output or can it be adjusted depending on load?

Fixed pressure compensated means exactly what it sounds like. The valve holds that 151 litre per minute flow rate steady regardless of load changes or pressure fluctuations in the system. You won't be tuning it up or down on the fly. If your application needs a variable rate, this particular valve wouldn't be the right fit, but for equipment where consistent flow is the whole point, it handles that job well.
