Running a refuse hauler and need a flow control that won't drift on me when load pressure changes up and down all shift long. This FAR1-10 pressure compensated, or is it just a basic needle valve?

Pressure compensation is built right into the FAR1-10 series, so the flow output stays consistent even when load-induced pressure swings happen. That's the whole point of the design. A basic needle valve would let your flow rate creep up or drop off as pressure changes, but this one holds steady. For a refuse hauler running variable loads through a full shift, that kind of stability makes a real difference in how the circuit behaves.
