Running 24-volt DC on our refuse hauler setup -- does this valve work with that, or do I need a different coil configuration?

24 volts DC is exactly what this valve runs on, so you're good there. It's a 2-way, 2-position normally open solenoid valve, meaning flow passes through in its resting state and shuts off when the solenoid energizes. For refuse hauler applications it's actually a pretty common fit, since the series was built with that kind of mobile equipment in mind alongside harvesters and similar industrial machinery.
