Running a refuse hauler and need a flow control valve that won't fight me when I'm trying to get fluid back through it, does this one allow reverse flow or is it one-directional only?

Free reverse flow is built right into this valve, so fluid moving back through it won't get restricted. That's one of the reasons it fits well in mobile equipment like refuse haulers, where you need controlled flow in one direction but don't want backpressure fighting you on the return side.
