got a refuse hauler that keeps eating solenoid valves and somebody recommended switching to a Vickers unit. this one rated for that kind of punishment?

Harvesters and refuse haulers are exactly the kind of equipment this valve was built around. The internals are hardened and ground steel, which holds up a lot better than softer components when you're dealing with constant cycling and dirty operating conditions. Pressure-wise, it's rated to 350 bar, which is 5000 psi, so headroom isn't going to be your problem. At 23 liters per minute flow and a 3/8 port, it fits right into the range most refuse hauler circuits are running. If your previous valves were wearing out fast, the hardened construction here is likely a meaningful upgrade.
