Will this here valve work okay on a harvester?

Usage in harvesters is definitely one application where this Vickers valve shines, along with refuse haulers and other mobile or industrial setups.

Got a harvester that needs a new solenoid valve and the old one's been giving us fits. This a normally closed setup, and does it run on 24 volt DC?

normally closed and 24 volt operation. When the solenoid isn't energized, the valve stays closed, and it opens when power is applied. That makes it a solid fit for systems where you want flow to stop automatically if power cuts out, which is pretty common in harvester hydraulics.
