Got a harvester that's been giving us fits with load drift on the hydraulic boom. Would a valve like this actually hold the load steady, or is it more of a flow control deal?

Load stability is exactly what the CBV1-10 series was built around. The external pilot configuration means actuation is handled through an independent pilot supply, which gives you consistent, controlled motion rather than letting the load float or creep. At a nominal 60 litres per minute flow rate for this configuration, it fits well in circuits where you need the load held firm between movements. Refuse haulers and harvesters are both listed applications, so boom-type hydraulic circuits are right in its wheelhouse.
