Got a harvester that's been chewing through solenoid valves and I need something that'll hold up. This a normally closed unit, or does it default open when power drops?

Normally closed is exactly what this valve is. When the solenoid loses power, it shuts off flow. For harvester applications that's usually the safer behavior since you want the hydraulic circuit to stop rather than stay open during a fault or shutdown. The valve runs on 12 volts DC, so it'll tie right into most standard mobile electrical systems without any extra hardware in between.
