Can this handle typical hydraulic pressures on a farm harvester?

It's rated up to 350 bar (5,000 psi), so it should handle most harvester applications just fine.

Got a refuse hauler that's been giving us fits with the old directional valve, this a normally closed 2-way setup, or does it default open when the coil drops power?

Normally closed is correct. When the coil loses power, the valve closes and stays closed. That means no flow passes through until the solenoid is energized, which is exactly what you want on a refuse truck where an uncontrolled circuit can cause real problems. It runs on 12-volt DC and is built to handle up to 350 bar, so it's well within range for that kind of equipment.
