Running this on a refuse hauler right now and need to know if 12 volts is the right coil for it. Just want to make sure before I pull the trigger.

12 volt operation is exactly what this valve is built for, so it'll work fine in a 12V mobile system like a refuse hauler. That application fits right in line with what this valve was put together for.
