Will this handle the pressure okay on my older harvester, it's run pretty hard?

what kind of valve style is this, poppet or spool? trying to figure out if it'll hold pressure steady on my refuse hauler without creeping

Poppet style, which is generally better at holding a consistent pressure without the drift you sometimes get from spool designs. For refuse hauler circuits that cycle through varying load conditions pretty regularly, that consistent sealing behavior is one of the main reasons folks reach for this series.
