If I'm usin' this on a refuse truck, you think it'll hold up to the kinda pressures those systems run at?
Question by: Roger F on Jun 13, 2025, 4:28 PM
This solenoid valve is engineered to handle pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi), so it should be suitable for the demands of refuse truck hydraulic systems. Just make sure your system doesn't exceed that pressure rating.

Running this on a refuse hauler setup, does the 24 volt coil work straight off the truck's electrical system, or is there gonna be converter headache involved?

Most refuse haulers run a 24-volt DC electrical system, so you'd typically be able to wire this valve in without any voltage conversion. The coil on this unit is rated for 24 volts, which lines up well with that kind of heavy equipment. Just make sure your circuit can handle the draw and your connections are clean and protected from moisture given the environment those trucks work in.
