running a harvester with some pretty demanding hydraulic cycles, would this valve hold up to those flow conditions, or is 11 liters a minute gonna be a bottleneck?
Question by: Freddie B on Jan 7, 2026, 12:27 PM
For a harvester application, 11 L/min is the rated flow on this valve, so if your circuit is pulling significantly more than that through this particular line, you'd want to size accordingly. That said, the SV11-8-4/4M is built from hardened and ground steel, which holds up well in the kind of dirty, high-cycle environments harvesters throw at equipment. The pressure rating comes in at 350 bar, so it's not going to be a weak point on the pressure side of things.

got a harvester that needs a solenoid valve, what kind of setup is this one

Use-case wise, it’s a Vickers CS 8 series solenoid valve in a 4-way, 2-position style, and it’s called out for equipment like harvesters and refuse haulers along with other mobile and industrial hydraulic applications.
