Running a refuse hauler and need a pressure control valve that won't quit on me mid-route. This RV5-10 rated for 5000 psi, or is that just a peak number?

350 bar, which works out to 5000 psi, is the operating pressure rating for this valve. That's not a momentary spike figure pulled from ideal lab conditions. For refuse hauler duty, where you're cycling that system hard all day, the RV5-10 series was built with exactly that kind of demanding mobile application in mind. Flow capacity runs up to 300 L/min (80 USgpm), so it's got plenty of headroom for high-demand hydraulic circuits.
