Been running this on a refuse hauler and it's held up fine, but my buddy's got a harvester application he's trying to sort out. Does this valve hold up to that kind of use too, or is it more of a light-duty piece?

Both of those applications are actually right in the wheelhouse for this valve. Harvesters and refuse haulers are specifically called out as intended uses, so your buddy shouldn't have any concerns there. The RV6-10 is built for demanding hydraulic circuits, handles pressures up to 350 bar (5000 psi), and can move flow up to 300 liters per minute. It's compact but not fragile, and the ball style construction keeps things reliable across the kind of real-world punishment those machines deal out.

Will this handle a harvester okay?

Application in harvesters is definitely within the design scope for these Vickers pressure control valves.
