Flow rate on this thing says 23 liters per minute but the max capacity listed is 350 L/min. what's the difference between those two numbers?

Good catch on that. The 23 liters per minute is the rated operating flow for this valve under normal working conditions. The 350 L/min figure represents the maximum flow capacity the valve is physically built to handle. Running it at the rated 23 L/min keeps it operating efficiently and within spec. The higher number just tells you how much headroom the valve has before you're pushing it beyond its design limits.

Can this handle dirty hydraulic fluid without causing problems down the line?
