Running a refuse hauler and need a normally closed solenoid valve rated for high pressure. This SV5-8-C here, does it hold up to 5,000 psi or is that just a peak rating?

350 bar is the rated operating pressure for this valve, which works out to right around 5,000 psi. That's not a burst or peak figure, that's the working pressure rating for the SV5-8-C series. Refuse hauler applications are listed as a direct use case for this valve, so it fits that kind of demanding cycle well. Construction is hardened and ground steel throughout, which keeps it from wearing out fast under load.
