We run a fleet of refuse haulers and been burning through solenoid valves something awful. This SV14 rated for 24V DC, that right?
Question by: Randy H on Mar 16, 2026, 11:03 AM
24 volts DC is exactly what this valve runs on. Built from hardened and ground steel, it holds up well in the kind of punishing duty cycles refuse haulers put equipment through. Pressure handling goes up to 350 bar (5,000 psi), so it's got plenty of headroom for that type of work.

What kinda machines would this solenoid valve be good for? I'm workin' on some older refuse trucks, and need somethin' reliable.

Designed for demanding duty cycles, this Vickers solenoid valve is suitable for harvesters, refuse haulers, and other mobile equipment where reliable directional control is needed. It's built tough with hardened and ground steel to handle harsh environments.
