Got a harvester sitting down at the shop with a failed solenoid valve and I need to know if this one runs normally closed. Can you confirm that?

Normally closed is correct. At rest, the valve blocks flow, and it only opens when the solenoid gets energized. That makes it a solid fit for harvester hydraulics where you want the circuit to default to a safe, closed state when power drops.
