flow rate on this one says 45 litres per minute, that enough to run a refuse hauler circuit without starving it out?

For a refuse hauler application, 45 litres per minute is right in the working range this valve was built for. The NV1-8 Series as a whole supports up to 350 L/min across the range, but this specific model is rated at 45 L/min, so as long as your circuit demand sits at or below that, you won't have starvation issues. It's a flow restrictor style, so it's managing flow rather than amplifying it. Size your system to that 45 L/min ceiling and you'll be in good shape.

Will this work good on a mobile application like a harvester?
