reckon this would work alright on a silage harvester?

got a harvester sitting idle because the old solenoid valve gave out, this a normally closed 2-way setup on 12 volts?

normally closed, 2-way, 2-position, and runs on 12 volts. When the solenoid isn't energized the valve stays closed, so flow is blocked until you send power to it. That's a pretty common configuration for mobile equipment like harvesters where you want a fail-safe closed state. Port size is 3/8 inch and flow rate on this particular valve is 23 litres per minute, so make sure that lines up with what your circuit needs before you pull the trigger.
