I'm looking to replace a valve on my harvester. How can I be sure this one is the right fit?

valve's normally closed, does that mean it stays shut if power cuts out on the machine?

Correct. When the solenoid loses power, the valve defaults back to a blocked position automatically. No flow passes through until it gets energized again. That makes it a solid choice for equipment where you want everything to stay put if something trips or the machine shuts down unexpectedly.
