Will this valve work alright on my harvester?

Application-wise, yes, it's good for harvesters. It's also used in refuse haulers and various mobile and industrial setups.

Got a refuse hauler running pretty hard most days. Will a valve rated to 5000 psi hold up in that kind of environment, or is that pushing it?

For refuse hauler duty, 350 bar (5000 psi) is a solid pressure rating and this is exactly the kind of application the RV5 series was built around. Mobile equipment like haulers puts real demand on pressure control components, and Vickers designed this valve with that sort of rugged, everyday use in mind.
