Got a harvester that keeps blowing out valves in dirty conditions. This a normally closed setup or does it default open when power cuts out?

Normally closed is exactly what this is. When the solenoid loses power, the valve shuts off flow. For harvester applications where a power loss could mean uncontrolled movement, that behavior is generally what you want. It runs on 12 volts and handles up to 350 bar, so it's built for the kind of punishment mobile equipment throws at it.
