runs on 12 volt, right? got a mobile harvester setup and need to make sure before I order

got a 12 volt setup. is this one a normally closed valve or does it sit open till you power it

In the de-energized state it is normally closed, since it is a 2-way, 2-position normally closed solenoid valve. Applying 12V to the coil shifts it to the other position to allow flow.
