Flow rate on this thing goes up to 178 liters per minute, but the max listed is 350 L/min. What's the difference there, and which one applies to how this valve actually runs day to day?

Running conditions matter a lot with this one. The 178 liters per minute is the controlled flow rate for normal operating conditions, which is what you'd plan around for your actual system work. The 350 L/min figure is the maximum the valve can handle passing through it overall. So day to day, size your system around the 178 L/min controlled rate, and know the valve won't be a bottleneck if you've got higher total flow moving through the circuit.
