This seal kit says it fits the F3-CVU-25-*, that asterisk at the end mean it covers more than one variant of that valve, or is it just a naming thing?

That asterisk is there to indicate the kit spans multiple configurations within the F3-CVU-25 series, not just a single fixed variant. Vickers built these valves in several configurations and sizes, and this seal kit was made to accommodate that range. So if you've got an F3-CVU-25 with a suffix on the model number, there's a good chance this kit still applies to your unit.
