flow rate on this thing is listed at 80 liters per minute, is that enough for press and die casting work or is it gonna be on the low end for those applications?

For press and die casting use, 80 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate. Both of those application types are explicitly listed as fits for this valve, so it's not a stretch to run it there. Whether it's on the low end really comes down to your specific system demands, but the valve is built with those environments in mind, not just rated for them on paper.
