We run this valve in a pretty grimy shop environment. Does it hold up decent against contamination, or are we gonna be fighting it all the time?

Contamination resistance was actually a core design priority for this valve. The DGMX2 series was built specifically to handle the kind of real-world conditions you find in machine tool environments, where fluid cleanliness is never perfect. It won't solve a badly maintained system on its own, but it's built tougher in that regard than a lot of comparable stack valves.
