flow rate on this valve is listed at 380 lpm -- is that enough for press and die casting work or is it pushing the limits for those applications?

For die casting and press applications, 380 liters per minute puts this valve well within range for most setups in those industries. Both die casting and press work are explicitly listed among the intended applications for this valve, so it was built with those demands in mind. Whether that flow ceiling is tight or comfortable depends on your specific circuit requirements, but the valve isn't being stretched into territory it wasn't meant for when used in those environments.
