flow rate on this one says 120 litres per minute -- is that enough for a high-throughput press application or would it start bogging down under load?

For press applications, 120 litres per minute is a solid ceiling and lines up well with what most industrial press circuits actually push through a directional control valve at this size. The DGMFN-5 is built with that kind of demanding duty in mind, so press use are explicitly within its intended use range. As long as your system demand stays at or under that flow threshold, you shouldn't see performance issues related to the valve itself.
