What kind of stuff is this valve really meant for? I'm seeing a few different applications listed.

This directional control valve excels in die casting, machine tools, and turbine control, but also handles test equipment, simulation, primary metal, paper, marine, and offshore applications.

flow rate on this thing is listed at 115 liters per minute -- is that enough for most press or machine tool setups, or is it on the lower end for that kind of work?
Question by: Travis R on Mar 12, 2026, 8:30 PM
For the majority of machine tool and press applications, 115 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Most standard industrial press circuits and machine tool hydraulic systems operate well within that range, so you're unlikely to hit a ceiling in typical production use. Where you'd want to do a closer check is on high-cycle or large-bore cylinder setups that demand peak flow sustained over a short burst, but for general machine tool work this valve sits right in a comfortable range.
