flow rate on this valve is listed at 94 liters per minute -- is that enough for press and die casting work or would it be undersized for those applications?

For press and die casting setups, 94 liters per minute puts this valve in solid working range for a lot of common configurations. Both of those applications are listed uses for this model, so it was built with those demands in mind. Whether it fits your specific system depends on your circuit design and actuator sizing, but the flow capacity alone isn't a limiting factor for typical press or die casting use.
