Can this valve handle hydraulic fluid with a lil grit in it, or do I need to be extra careful 'bout filtration?

While this Vickers valve is built for demanding industrial environments, keepin' your hydraulic fluid clean will definitely extend its life and maintain performance. Buna-N seals are durable, but they ain't invincible against abrasive particles.
