flow rate on this one says 227 liters per minute -- is that enough for most standard pressure regulation setups or is that on the higher end?

For pressure relief and regulation work in hydraulic circuits, 227 liters per minute puts this valve well into the capable range for a broad variety of industrial and mobile applications. Most standard systems running pressure limiting functions won't come close to pushing that ceiling, so you've got solid headroom to work with.
