got a DG4V-3 valve on a press that needs swapped, is this one a single-stage directional control valve like the old Vickers units?
Question by: Rhonda R on Mar 4, 2026, 6:30 PM
Built as a DG4V-3 60 design single-stage directional control valve, it fits the same general job as other DG4V-3 single-stage units where you need directional control in a hydraulic circuit.

flow rate on this one -- is 80 lpm enough for most press applications or should I be lookin at somethin bigger?
Question by: Shane S on Feb 24, 2026, 9:03 PM
For a good portion of press setups, 80 liters per minute covers what you need. This valve fits squarely in the mid-range flow category, so if your system demand runs close to or above that ceiling, you'd want to size up. But for standard press cycles that don't push high-volume flow continuously, 80 lpm is a practical working figure.
