If I'm running this valve constantly, like on a machine tool, is that gonna cause any problems?

This Vickers valve is designed for demanding industrial applications, so continuous operation in a machine tool setting shouldn't be an issue.

Flow rating on this thing is 80 LPM, that hold up in a press application or is that pushing it?

For press work, 80 litres per minute is a solid ceiling and fits right in the range most press circuits are built around. The 4/3 configuration gives you the directional switching you need for that kind of application, and Vickers lists press as one of the intended uses for this valve, so you're not working against the design at all.
