What kind of applications is this valve actually built for? We run a pretty mixed shop and trying to figure out if it fits our setup.
Question by: Shawn R on May 29, 2025, 1:20 PM
Quite a few industrial environments are a good match for this one. The KCG-3 covers die casting and foundry work, machine tool applications, press use, marine and offshore use, primary metal and paper processing, test equipment and simulation rigs, and turbine control systems including wind, steam, and water. If your shop touches any of those, it's worth a closer look.

i keep seeing “without OBE” on these KCG-3 valves, what does that mean in plain terms?
Question by: Shawn F on Apr 21, 2025, 12:21 PM
Without OBE means it is the version that does not come with onboard electronics built into the valve. It is still a direct-acting proportional valve, but the electronics are not integrated on the unit.
