Will this thing work okay in a hydraulic system that's gotta hold pressure steady?
Question by: Larry L on Nov 28, 2025, 7:38 AM
This Vickers valve is indeed engineered for applications where maintaining a consistent pressure is key, so it should do the trick for you.

got a circuit that needs a pressure relief or regulating valve to keep things from spiking. is this CG5-10 100 series the right kind of valve for that job
Question by: Pete T on Aug 24, 2025, 10:01 AM
For limiting a hydraulic circuit to a set maximum, this CG5-10 100 series pressure control valve is built for adjustable pressure relief or pressure regulating duty so you can maintain the pressure level you want in the circuit.

seal material on this valve, is it gonna hold up around moisture or wet conditions?
Question by: Tammy T on Sep 19, 2025, 11:29 AM
Buna-N is the seal material used here, and that's actually a solid choice for environments where moisture is a concern. It resists water exposure well and holds up better than a lot of other seal compounds in damp or humid conditions. For a hydraulic circuit running in a wet shop or outdoor setup, that's a real practical advantage.
