Product Questions & Answers

got a setup that needs a directional valve, is this one a 3-way or 4-way deal?
Question by: Gary G on Oct 16, 2025, 9:33 PM
You can set it up for three-way or four-way directional control, so it gives you flexibility depending on how your hydraulic circuit is laid out.

Will this valve work alright for a die casting setup?
Question by: Jimmy H on Dec 27, 2025, 3:45 PM
For die casting and foundry work, this Vickers valve is designed to hold up. It's also used in machine tooling, marine applications, and turbine control, so it should be suitable for the demands of die casting.

flow rate on this one says 80 liters per minute, that enough for press or die casting work, or is that on the lower end for those applications?
Question by: Neil C on May 7, 2025, 7:49 AM
For die casting and press applications, 80 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Those environments can vary a lot in demand depending on the specific machine setup, but this valve sits comfortably in the range that production equipment in those industries typically runs at. It handles three- or four-way directional control, so you've got flexibility in how the circuit is configured too.
