got a machine that needs a directional valve, what kind of flow can this DG4V handle?

For capacity, it is rated up to 80 litres per minute, which puts it in a good range for a lot of industrial hydraulic circuits that need solid directional control.

It's definitely suitable for machine tool applications, along with presses, primary metal, marine/offshore, die casting and foundry, test and simulation equipment, and even turbine control systems.

Flow rate on this one says 80 litres per minute, that hold up across both three-way and four-way configurations, or is that number only for one of em?

80 litres per minute is the rated flow for the valve regardless of whether you're running it in a three-way or four-way setup. The directional configuration affects how flow is routed through the ports, not the overall capacity the valve is built to handle. Both arrangements operate within that same 80 LPM ceiling.
