Product Questions & Answers

got a machine with a DG4V 3S valve on it now. is the DG4V 3S 7A M U H5 60 a straight swap if i match that H5 spool and the 60 coil?
Question by: Gene S on May 29, 2025, 11:00 AM
Match-up is the key with this one. The H5 callout is the spool configuration, and the 60 suffix is the coil voltage rating, so those two need to line up with what you are replacing. When they do, this model is meant as a direct fit for installations already using compatible Vickers DG4V 3S series components.

Will this here valve work as a straight swap for my old DG4V 3S 7A M U H5 60? Don't want to mess with the fittings too much.
Question by: Jerry T on Jan 9, 2026, 9:59 AM
For existing setups using compatible DG4V 3S series parts, this valve should be a direct replacement. You'll want to double-check the "H5" spool configuration and "60" coil voltage to be certain, but the listing says it's built to Vickers standards.

Got an older machine running DG4V 3S series valves and need to swap one out, this the right fit for that setup?
Question by: Rex L on Jul 5, 2025, 8:55 PM
For existing installations built around the DG4V 3S series, this valve is spec'd as a direct replacement for compatible components in that family. The wet-armature solenoid design carries over from the broader DG4V platform, so switching performance and actuation behavior should stay consistent with what you already have running. Just confirm the spool configuration and coil voltage match your current setup before ordering, since the H5 designation and the 60 suffix on this unit are specific details that matter when sourcing a drop-in swap.
