Product Questions & Answers

got a setup that needs a 3-way or 4-way directional valve, will this DG4V-3 handle either one?
Question by: Keith B on Aug 26, 2025, 9:55 AM
For directional control work, it supports both three-way and four-way configurations, so it can be used in either style of circuit depending on how you plumb it.

flow rate on this thing is listed at 80 LPM -- we running a press line and need to make sure it aint gonna be a bottleneck. that about right for mid-range industrial press work?
Question by: Wayne C on Sep 24, 2025, 5:04 PM
80 litres per minute puts it well within range for most press applications at that scale. The DG4V-3 series is used in press environments specifically, so that flow capacity lines up with what those systems typically demand. As long as your circuit isn't pushing past that ceiling, you shouldn't run into any restriction issues on the valve side.

reckon this valve'll hold up okay in a die casting setup? Those machines can get pretty rough.
Question by: Sherry M on Mar 6, 2026, 7:38 AM
Designed for demanding industrial hydraulic applications, this Vickers valve should be right at home in a die casting or foundry environment. It's also used in machine tool, press, and marine/offshore applications, so it's built to withstand some punishment.
