flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 LPM -- is that enough for press applications or is it usually on the lower end for that kind of work?

The DG4V-3 series is actually listed for press applications specifically, so it's not a stretch to run it in that environment. Part of Eaton Vickers DG4V-3 60 Design single stage directional control valves, it’s a three or four-way directional control valve meant for directional control in hydraulic circuits.
