Product Questions & Answers

We run a mix of machine tool and die casting equipment and need a valve that can pull duty across both setups without swapping out. This one listed for both those applications or is that just marketing talk?
Question by: Donna C on Dec 24, 2025, 2:21 PM
Both machine tool and die casting and foundry are legitimate listed applications for this valve, so running it across those two environments is well within what it's built for. The DG4V-3 series covers a wide range of industrial uses including press, marine and offshore, turbine control, and test and simulation equipment. The broad application coverage comes from the extensive model availability within the series, which makes it practical to fit into different circuit setups without a lot of custom engineering work.

trying to swap out a directional valve on an older press, is this DG4V-3 a 3-way or 4-way deal
Question by: Jean T on May 9, 2025, 3:33 PM
Built for three or four way directional control, the DG4V-3 series valve is used to route hydraulic flow in industrial circuits where you need to shift a spool and change actuator direction.
