Will this directional valve work for a machine tool application?

flow rate on this one is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for press work or die casting setups running pretty hard?

For most press and die casting applications, 80 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Those environments can push valves pretty hard, and this one was built with exactly that kind of duty in mind. As long as your system demand stays within that flow ceiling, you should be in good shape running it in either of those setups.
