Product Questions & Answers

flow rate on this thing is listed at 80 litres per minute, that gonna hold up running presses or heavier machine tool setups, or is that more of a ceiling you don't want to push?
Question by: Phil B on Mar 22, 2026, 8:12 PM
Eighty litres per minute is the rated maximum, so for press and machine tool circuits that run within that range, you're in good shape. The valve is specifically listed for both press and machine tool applications, along with some pretty demanding environments like die casting, foundry equipment, and primary metal processing. As long as your circuit stays at or under that flow ceiling, this is a valve that's been spec'd for exactly that kind of work.

got a setup that needs 3-way control, but i might swap to 4-way later. does this valve handle both or am i stuck one way
Question by: Janice B on Feb 24, 2026, 6:28 PM
For directional control, the DG4V 3S 0AL M FW B5 supports either three-way or four-way operation, so it fits systems that need one or the other depending on how your circuit is laid out.

Question by: Warren B on Dec 12, 2025, 8:03 AM
This valve is definitely up to the task in hydraulic press applications, along with machine tools and die casting equipment.
