Will this thing hold up in a die casting environment? We got a lot of heat and mess.

Designed to boost resistance to contamination, this Vickers DGMC valve is a good fit for die casting and foundry applications where you're dealing with those kinds of challenges.

got a small stack-up on a press, what’s this DGMC-3 41 valve actually used for
Question by: Peggy F on Sep 6, 2025, 7:41 AM
In the Vickers SystemStak line, the DGMC-3 41 is a directional control valve that’s meant to be stacked into a hydraulic circuit. It’s commonly used in industrial setups like presses, machine tools, primary metal, and similar equipment where you want a clean stack-style installation.

flow rate on this valve is listed at 60 LPM -- is that enough for press or machine tool work, or is it on the lower end for those applications?
Question by: Hugh S on Jun 7, 2025, 8:25 PM
Sixty liters per minute puts it right in a workable range for a good number of press and machine tool setups. The DGMC-3 series is used across those applications, along with die casting, primary metal, and even turbine control work, so it covers a fair amount of ground. Whether 60 LPM is enough really comes down to your system demand at the valve, not just the equipment category. If your circuit is sized to stay within that flow ceiling, you're in good shape with this one.
