flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 lpm, that enough for a standard press application or is it gonna be pushing its limits?

For most press setups, 80 liters per minute gives you solid working room without running the valve at the edge of its capacity. The DG4V-3 series is explicitly listed for press applications, so the flow rating and the use case line up well together. As long as your system demand stays at or under that 80 lpm ceiling, you should be in good shape.
