flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for press applications or does it fall short for heavier duty setups?

For most press applications, 80 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Presses are actually listed as one of the intended uses for this valve, so it's not a stretch to put it there. Where you'd want to think twice is if your system is running significantly above that flow ceiling, since 80 LPM is the rated max. Stay within that range and you're in good shape for press work.
